This week i finished the book of Mormon in English. I love that book! Everyone go read it, right now! But really, there´s no way I can deny the truthfulness of the book of Mormon, and the fact that Joseph Smith was a prophet called from God. This week I started the Book of Mormon over, but in Spanish.... wish me luck haha. Ive actually been able to understand it pretty dang well!

We´re still trying to find investigators and people that will actually listen to us. But it was a pretty good week!
We met our new mission president and had a multizona conference! It was so great! We talked about working with members more and how we can be more effective as teachers. He reminded us we are not here to reactivate, but to bring people to repentance and baptism. Easy to spend too much time visiting with less-actives. I gave the spiritual thought in the conference. Pickin on the new girl, i guess. haha it went well :)
I´ve been trying really hard to talk to everyone, and people sitting outside their houses and stuff. Its been good cuz we´ve been able to have more chats with people.. but also I'm still trying to figure out how to have smooth conversations and not just jump into saying that we´re missionaries, ya know?

-- There is a lot of graffiti here of Bart Simpson ??
-- People eat cough drops like candy - menthol ugh.
We had stopped visiting Country, but he actually attended another baptism in our zone this week and talked with the elders! He is still wanting to be baptized....so we are going back to teach him again. 👍
I read a talk by Russel M Nelson this week about Joy and it was super amazing! Really changed my perspective. My favorite quote says " the joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives"... if our lives our focused and centered in Jesus Christ.. we can find joy even while facing hard times.
This week i had kinda a rough night... and then in the morning i prayed that i could be taught by the holy ghost something that day. And then i read the Hope section in PMG.. and it says that hope is an abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill his promises to us. And I realized that I really need to TRUST more that the Lord will keep his promises to me if I'm striving to be better and faithful everyday. So I reviewed my fathers blessing, patriarchial, and setting apart blessings... and wrote down in my journal all the promised blessings of my mission service- and there are toooons. I am focusing this week on trusting the Lord and and doing my part to have those blessings fulfilled.
I love you all! Keep on keepin on!
