Dos Angeles de Utah

Hola!

Its been a good week! 

COUNTRY We had a couple good lessons with Country.. but then he didnt make it to church this Sunday! We were so bummed, we´re really working with him to grow his faith. When he prays he says ¨gracias por mis dos angeles de utah", and its so cute haha. 

We taught a few other investigators this week.. and with each of them we focused on the Book of Mormon, and inviting them to read and pray. I´ve been praying so hard for all of them.. that they´ll actually do it and be able to feel the confirmation that its true. So many people here want to talk with us and be our friend, but have a hard time actually keeping commitments. 

I´ve felt my Spanish improve a little this week. It always makes me happy whenever i´ll read a scripture or something and the members say that my pronunciation was good :) But my favorite thing is when someone is talking super fast, and then they look at my comp and say ¨su compañero todavia no sabe castellano?" and im like..  uhhhh i understand when you say that! Thank you very much haha. 

We´re getting a new mission president today! I'm excited to meet them.. .but also sad that the Francos left.. they´re super great. I´ve been really striving to be as effective as possible this week. Its hard when we walk a lot, and when people don't want to talk to us so we get rejected a lot.. But I'm trying to base our success off of our efforts, not how many times we were actually received. 

I love my study time, it may be the best time of the day to be honest. I´ve been reading in 3rd Nephi, and its AMAZING. indescribable really. I read chapters 17-20 yesterday and felt the spirit so strongly. There's no way to deny the Book of Mormon. I hope you´re all studying it every day :) I learn so much every single day, and always wonder why I never strived to gain all of this knowledge before my mission. 

I'm so grateful I have this opportunity to learn and dedicate time to the Lord. Also to help others... there are so many who are confused and struggling here. And i just think about them all the time and try to figure out how I can help them. I know for a fact that the gospel is the only thing that brings true happiness and peace.
