This week was a good one. We taught a few people that have a lot of potential, its just that they cant come to church :/ because they have work. But we invited so many people, so I was praying so hard for at least one person.. and we were in the sacrament meeting, and a girl came that we had met at a ward activity on Friday. She's not a member, but came to church because she has interest in learning about what are church does. So we wrote down her number and we´re gonna visit her this week! yay!! Her names Carolina!
ROCKLETS- my favorite thing ever They are basically MnMs, but way better |
I gave a talk in church yesterday.. and spoke about faith (referring to James 1:5).... and I made up 5 steps they can do to exercise their faith to spread the gospel. And focused on praying to feel inspired with who needs the gospel that they can share it with. I said we aren't here to go to their houses, eat their food, and then ask who they know who isn't a member so we can baptize them. But rather that we want to pray with them and help them set a goal to share the gospel with the people in their lives who are ready to accept the gospel. I think it went well.
This week i talked to a man who was very... hard hearted. He doesn't believe in religion But he said he's read the Book of Mormon and knows about our religion but doesn't believe it. But... he studies genealogy a lot, and needed some help, so he went to our family history center. And he told us that he wouldn't ever join our church, but that he was going to be giving a speech at some school about genealogy, and he was going to speak about the Mormon church in a good light. And it just made me happy because even though he doesn't share our beliefs, he´s able to talk about our church to others in a good way! Because we offer family history!
So I'm way taller than the average person here, and the other day a member said me and my comp (who's a lot shorter than me)... are David and Goliath. Like are you kidding me? Last week I was called Hermana hulk, and this week its Goliath. I guess I take after my dad. Anyway, this was a good week. I´m getting closer with the members and the missionaries. Its gonna be hard to leave this area! Love you all!
